Welcome to the Republican Women of Rains County (RWRC) website. RWRC are a group of citizens who are striving to accomplish these goals:

  • work for the election of the Republican Party’s nominees,
  • promote an informed electorate through political education,
  • increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government through active political participation,
  • facilitate cooperation among local Republican Women’s clubs,
  • foster loyalty to the Republican Party and to promote it’s principles and candidates in all elections including non-partisan elections.

In addition to the above goals, we enjoy serving our community and county. The RWRC club members support the local food bank by making donations of food stuffs and other items. The members send gift boxes to the troops during the Christmas season. Other activities supply new books to the public schools and the public library, and support the “Don’t Mess With Texas” campaign to keep our highways clean.

Our meetings are usually on the fourth Friday of each month from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. We meet in the Rains County Public Library Meadows Room. You are cordially invited to attend any of our meetings and join us as we work toward the fulfillment of each of our goals. RWRC have dedicated this year’s activities and club growth to the memory of Nancy Sanders, our first president.
